وهددت كتائب القسام؛ في خطاب لها؛ ألقاه أبو "عبيدة" الناطق العسكري باسمها؛ في اليوم الثاني عشر من معركة (شهر رمضان 1435ه ، الموافق صيف 2014م) وقال :: أن، "نتنياهو ويعلون" ،لهم ولجندهم ؛الخيبة، والهزيمة والذل، مؤكدة أن جيشهم ،سيجر بإذن الله؛ ذيول الانكسار، وسيعض أصابع الندم، كل من تآمر على شعبنا ومقاومته؛ ومن وقف في صف المغضوب عليهم من قتلة الأنبياء، وسيندم كل من وقف متفرجاً، أو متردداً، ولم يشارك، ولو بالقليل في صناعة هذا النصر ؛ الاستراتيجي الكبير.
