A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]منذ زمن بعيد ولى...كان هناك شجرة تفاح في غاية الضخامة[/FONT]...
A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]كان هناك طفل صغير يلعب حول هذه الشجرة يوميا[/FONT]...
He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow...
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وكان يتسلق أغصان هذه الشجرة ويأكل من ثمارها ...وبعدها يغفو قليلا لينام في ظلها[/FONT]...
He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]كان يحب الشجرة وكانت الشجرة تحب لعبه معها[/FONT]...
Time went by...the little boy had grown up,
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]مر الزمن... وكبر هذا الطفل[/FONT]...
And he no longer played around the tree every day.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وأصبح لا يلعب حول هذه الشجرة بعد ذلك[/FONT]...
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]في يوم من الأيام...رجع هذا الصبي وكان حزينا[/FONT]...!
"Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فقالت له الشجرة: تعال والعب معي[/FONT]...
"I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more"
The boy replied.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابها الولد: لم أعد صغيرا لألعب حولك[/FONT]...
"I want toys. I need money to buy them."
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]أنا أريد بعض اللعب وأحتاج بعض النقود لشرائها[/FONT]...
"Sorry, but I do not have money...
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابته الشجرة: أنا لا يوجد معي أية نقود[/FONT]!!!
But you can pick all my apples and sell them.
So, you will have money.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]ولكن يمكنك أن تأخذ كل التفاح إلى لدي لتبيعه ثم تحصل على النقود التي تريدها[/FONT]...
" The boy was so excited.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]الولد كان سعيدا للغاية[/FONT]...
He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فتسلق الشجرة وجمع جميع ثمار التفاح التي عليها ونزل من عليها سعيدا[/FONT]...
The boy never came back after he picked the apples.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]لم يعد الولد بعدها[/FONT] ...
The tree was sad.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]كانت الشجرة في غاية الحزن بعدها لعدم عودته[/FONT]...
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وفي يوم رجع هذا الولد للشجرة ولكنه لم يعد ولدا بل أصبح رجلا[/FONT]...!!!
And the tree was excited "Come and play with me" the tree said.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وكانت الشجرة في منتهى السعادة لعودته وقالت له: تعال والعب معي[/FONT]...
"I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]ولكنه أجابها وقال لها[/FONT]:
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]أنا لم أعد طفلا لألعب حولك مرة أخرى فقد أصبحت رجلا مسئولا عن عائلة[/FONT]...
We need a house for Arb3Arb3Arb3Arb3ter.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وأحتاج لبيت ليكون لهم مأوى[/FONT]...
Can you help me?

The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وكانت الشجرة سعيدة لسعادته ورؤيته هكذا ...ولكنه لم يعد إليها[/FONT] ...
The tree was again lonely and sad.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وأصبحت الشجرة حزينة مرة أخرى[/FONT]...
One hot summer day,
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وفي يوم حار جدا[/FONT]...
The man returned and the tree was delighted.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]عاد الرجل مرة أخرى وكانت الشجرة في منتهى السعادة[/FONT]....
"Come and play with me!" the tree said.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فقالت له الشجرة: تعال والعب معي[/FONT]...
"I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فقال لها الرجل أنا في غاية التعب وقد بدأت في الكبر...وأريد أن أبحر لأي مكان لأرتاح[/FONT]...
"Can you give me a boat?"
"Said the man".
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فقال لها الرجل: هل يمكنك إعطائي مركبا[/FONT]...
"Use my trunk to build your boat.
You can sail far away and be happy.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابته يمكنك أخذ جزعي لبناء مركبك...وبعدها يمكنك أن تبحر به أينما تشاء...وتكون سعيدا[/FONT]...
" So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فقطع الرجل جذع الشجرة وصنع مركبه[/FONT]!!!
He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فسافر مبحرا ولم يعد لمدة طويلة جدا[/FONT]........................
Finally, the man returned after many years.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]أخيرا عاد الرجل بعد غياب طويل وسنوات طويلة جدا[/FONT]........
"Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]ولكن الشجرة أجابت وقالت له : آسفة يا بني الحبيب ولكن لم يعد عندي أي شئ لأعطيه لك[/FONT]...
No more apples for you...
" The tree said".
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]وقالت له:لا يوجد تفاح[/FONT]...
"No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite
" The man replied.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]قال لها: لا عليك لم يعد عندي أي أسنان لأقضمها بها[/FONT]...
"No more trunk for you to climb on"
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]لم يعد عندي جذع لتتسلقه ولم يعد عندي فروع لتجلس عليها[/FONT]...
"I am too old for that now" the man said.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابها الرجل لقد أصبحت عجوزا اليوم ولا أستطيع عمل أي شئ[/FONT]!!!
"I really cannot give you anything...
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأخبرته : أنا فعلا لا يوجد لدي ما أعطيه لك[/FONT]...
The only thing left is my dying root,"
The tree said with tears.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]كل ما لدي الآن هو جذور ميتة...أجابته وهي تبكي[/FONT]...
"I do not need much now, just a place to rest.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابها وقال لها: كل ما أحتاجه الآن هو مكان لأستريح به[/FONT]...
I am tired after all these years" the man replied.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأنا متعب بعد كل هذه السنون[/FONT]...
"Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest,
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فأجابته وقالت له: جذور الشجرة العجوز هي أنسب مكان لك للراحة[/FONT]...
Come, come sit down with me and rest.
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]تعال ...تعال واجلس معي هنا تحت واسترح معي[/FONT]...
" The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears...
[FONT=Times New Roman (Arabic)]فنزل الرجل إليها وكانت الشجرة سعيدة به والدموع تملأ ابتسامتها[/FONT]...
This is you and the tree is your parent. !!!!!
