اولا: اداة الربط and توضع عندما تكون الجملتين تتحدث عن شئ واحد او حدث واحد او صفات متقاربه .
مثال :
Mona is extremely kind
Mona is generous
اداة الربط and مناسبة لعدم وجود تناقض ، فنقول :
* Mona is extremely kind and generous
. مثال اخر :
Majed has a guitar .
Majed plays the guitar really well* Majed has a guitar , and he plays it really well
ثانيا ادة الربط or توضع عندما تكون الجملتين فيها اختيارات متعددة لا تحدث في وقت واحد
مثال :
you can eat the food with a fork or spoon
مثال اخر :
Sami and his friends can buy some food.
Sami and his friends can go to a restaurant * Sami and his friends can buy some food ,or they can go to a restaurant
ثالثا اداة الربط but توضع عندما تكون الجملتين متناقضة او غير متوقعه
مثال : I went to buy an Umbrella . the shop didn't have an Umbrella * I went
to buy an Umbrella ,but the shop didn't have it
رابعا اداة الربط so توضع عندما تكون الجمله الاولى سبب للجمله الثانيه
مثال :
Ali was cold . Ali put on a coat Ali was cold ,so he put on a coat
