منذ بدء الحرب البرية أحصت كتائب القسام قتل مجاهديها لـ 52جنديا في الاشتباكات المباشرة بينهم ضباط كبار وهذا العدد لا يشمل القتلى الذين تكتم العدو عليهم في آلياته المستهدفة.
كما تمكنت من تدمير 36 آلية واستهداف أماكن تحصن القوات الخاصة ب35 قذيفة و33 عبوة وقنصت 11 جندي ويأتي ذلك في إطار الرد على العدوان الصهيوني، وعلى استهداف المدنيين والبيوت، فقدمت نموذجاً يشهده العالم في التصدي للعدو وآلياته على أعتاب غزة.
وفي إحصائية القسام لليوم السادس عشر، إطلاق 96 قذيفة صاروخية، منها صاروخين من طراز J80، و4 صواريخ من طراز M75، و4 صواريخ من طراز S55، بالإضافة الى استهداف عدد من الآليات العسكرية المتوغلة وإصابتها بشكل مباشر، كما تمكن القسام من قنص جندي.
إضافة الى ذلك وفي الساعات الأخيرة من يوم الثلاثاء السادس عشر وبالتحديد في تمام الساعة 19:40قامت بحمد الله وتوفيقه وحدة الدفاع الجوي التابعة لكتائب القسام باستهداف وإصابة طائرة حربية من طراز F16 بصاروخ أرض جو في سماء منطقة دير البلح أثناء محاولتها الإغارة على أبناء شعبنا المجاهد.
